At Across Fitness, community is our strength. Throughout the year, we come together to train hard, celebrate courage, and lift each other higher — in and out of the gym.
Annual Community Events
February
CrossFit Open
Every spring, we unite for the CrossFit Open — testing our limits, cheering each other on, and celebrating every PR along the way. Whether you’re competing or just showing up with heart, this is where courage shines.
March
Hanami Picnic
When the cherry blossoms bloom, we take our community outside for a Hanami Picnic — food, laughter, and connection under Tokyo’s pink skies & spring rain showers.
June
Summer Throwdown
Our annual Summer Throwdown brings the heat — team workouts, friendly competition, and all the high fives you can handle. A celebration of strength, spirit, and summer vibes. Children & families from our Young Athletes Program join in the fun!
July
Summer BBQ
After the Throwdown comes the feast! We fire up the grill for a Summer BBQ, where members, families, and friends gather to refuel, relax, and reconnect.
October
Haunted Halloween Party
Costumes, Prizes, DJ’s, dancing and creative chaos make our Haunted Halloween Party one of the most anticipated nights of the year.
December
Year-End Throwdown
We close the year with our Year-End Throwdown — a team event that celebrates effort, progress, and perseverance. It’s our way of saying thank you for showing up, again and again.
Holiday Party
We finish the year together — music, laughter, good food, and gratitude. Our Holiday Party is where we look back with pride and look forward with purpose.
Across Fitness teams can be seen at many sporting events, across Japan, throughout the year. Spartan Races in Japan are typically held in February, May, July, September and December. Hyrox Competitions in summer and late fall are popular with many of our members. Train Running events are also popular and can be found around the country, multiple times a month.
