Athlete Spotlight: Kazuya
Kazuya has been doing CrossFit for approximately 4 months. He discovered CrossFit through Instagram and was drawn to its efficient and enjoyable group training sessions. He finds the sense of achievement and camaraderie with his classmates, especially during challenging workouts, to be the most enjoyable aspect. Kazuya aspires to have a healthy and mobile body. His favorite type of CrossFit workout is the Hero Workout. To those considering starting CrossFit, he encourages them to embrace the exhilaration that comes after challenging workouts, particularly recommending the morning classes and the option for low-impact exercises to accommodate different fitness levels. As for places to visit in Tokyo, Kazuya recommends Shinjuku Gyoen.

ハードなワークアウトは多めですが、終わった後の爽快感はクセになります!特に朝のクラスは最高です!全てを完璧にこなす必要はなく、負荷の低いオプションもあるので自分のペースでトレーニングすることができます。生活の一部として一緒にワークアウトを楽しみましょう!

Where did you find CrossFit? What made you decide to start?
I started because I saw it on instagram and wanted to train my body efficiently while having fun in a group training session!
What have you enjoyed most about doing CrossFit?
When I high-five my classmates after completing a tough workout! The sense of achievement is amazing and addictive!
Is there anyone you admire or aspire to be like? Who do you admire or aspire to be like and why?
No, not really. I aspire to have a healthy and mobile body.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about starting?
There are a lot of hard workouts, but the feeling of exhilaration afterwards is addictive! The morning classes are especially great! You don't have to do everything perfectly and there are low-impact options so you can train at your own pace. Come and enjoy working out with us as part of your life!
